Hi guys, new here and sorry if this has been said before.
I have purchased a SUP from a place in Logan (i should have known better)
Anyway 3/4 of the bottom of the board has delaminated.
I went back to the place i bought it from and they told me they are all factory 2nds. I CANT BELIEVE IT.
They did not offer any warranty or refund either. Really bad business
Sorry for the rant, but i just thought everyone on here should know not to go near this place. Its toxic.
Cheers Steve

Sorry Steve and it's not a nice first post is it ?

I stumbled on their website a couple weeks back and I have to say that it it was fairly obvious that it was a second rate and 'pop out' factory for boards.

Notwithstanding the location of the operation (non coastal) and information on site, surely the risk of buying for the price you no doubt paid had you thinking that 'too good to be true usually is' ?

This is why we pay more money for name and quality brands and not fly by nighters mate.

I hope you can now spend the extra at one of the reputable dealers who sponsor Seabreeze and have years of stoke without the worries.

Not just places away from the surf selling Sabres.
The Surf factory in Mooloolaba has also been selling Sabre's. $699 for any SUP in the shop.

Absolutely right, I've read about some really quality dealers and brands get bucketed in the same way. Never heard of Sabre SUPs by the way. I always worry when somebody bags something (albeit legitimately)but have left no details of who they are in their profile. Jesus, I've become a conspiracy theorist!!! Unfortunately there are some very, very unscrupulous people in the business community, no slur intended on anyone. It's just the nature of the money making beast. Namaste, Mahalo etc.

Being new to the site ,I guess allowances can be made, it is obvious to me that people hide behind false names or ID to have a say on this forum, I would prefer those people to actually be bold enough to call or come and discuss the suppossed problem.
to you Steve,if you have called or come to our warehouse to show/discuss this board with us, you certainly did not speak with the owner , if you had, you would know that all boards are warranted, we have some boards that are seconds and when they are bought , you are advised that, but they still have warranty
I expect your reply to the email I sent you by the days end, the TOXIC bit , that is quite wierd ?
regards Greg

Anonymity is an easy way of voicing an opinion without cred, imo.
Too many hide behind no names or false ID, guttless wonders

when i started i purchased a SABRE SUP. 12'6 full carbon race board. it looked the part too. i had it for about 5 months before i traded it. i suppose if your starting out sure you want to have the best board but if you can only afford a cheaper option one should expect to get what you pay. DO YOUR RESEARCH!!! save up a little longer to get what you want.
