At a secret location the Naish boys Adam and Aiden were having a shake down with Session. There was 9'6 x28 a 9'5 x 31 Manna and an 8'10.

I have to say I have not been a fan of the Naish boards as a rule but from what I saw the 9'6 and the 8'10 would definitely change my mind.

The 9'6 would have been my weapon of choice, I was really impressed with the way it went rail to rail and it produced lots of speed and flow from what I saw.

The 8'10 will really suit those that want to blow it up in a production board, it has far more flow than the old 9'3 that used to stall in turns all the time.

I can only say that the new Naish range is very impressive.

Rich having some fun:

Aiden nice switchfoot:

Adam hack:

I may have to get used to yellow! Nah

Well maybe!

I now understand what JB was saying about the Naish 8'10" HOKUA .....OMG OMG OMG!

Big thankyou to Aiden and Adam from NAISH for bringing the range down to demo in the pooring rain 13deg Torquay weather .Aiden must have frozen in his boardies !

The new range is impressive and im blown away with the 8'10".......It paddles into waves with ease but required some effort for 1st surf , can't wait for another paddle on this board .
9'6" NALU was a surprise performer and the 9'5 MANA ...is VERY stable.

Great to catch up with Phill today , thanks heaps for the photo's that you took in the pooring RAIN while resting your broken ribs.

I need a bigger garage........
Rich

Phil just wondering why you were not a big fan of naish boards ?

The 9 6" i have has been surfed in everything from 1 ft to 8 ft and has been a relaible performer I think this board has some of the best low profile thin rails I have seen on any sub

Hope your not too sore mate

Well Mr Brooko,

Straight from the hip, with my wide ass they didnt have the float and I just plain found them too much seriously hard work especially in cross chop.

When I first tried them I was coming off a Laird 12 so I guess it was a huge step down.

I tried a 9'6 a few weeks back and really liked it, it was a doddle.

I still think the PSH suits what I surf here a little better, but I loved what I saw with Rich and the boys throwing them around. I also believe the construction quaility on the new boards is a lot better.

I am looking at getting Kristi a new board and if I can get a demo on a 8fter then that may be the first Naish in the Garage.

It will feel a bit intimidated as the PSHs wont like it in there laughs.

Mr Chompy has serious attitude, look what he did to me

Hey Revvin,

That board rips, Adam was really throwing it around. I havent see one before but very nice stick indeed.

Ask rich for a Demo, a little birdie told me he might have a few Naishs kicking around, I would try the 9'6 too.

Brooko,

The Naish would just have to mix some cement in its wax and toughen up!

No princess sticks around here laughs!

Hey Dogmeister,

Have you tried the 8'10 Naish it looks like a sweet ride.

Now that Sponge Bob Round Nose is being replaced by a shorter brother 8'6 ish I hear, you might have to take a 5 inch stick reduction to keep up

You may even have to reduce back to 35 pies a day?

Life wasnt meant to be easy bro.

Come on you no you want to!

hey Dog,
yeah it was a little cold, id like to say thats why I'm not throwing buckets (too cold to fall off), but it could just be that the pies were holding me back. That is the 8'10 that those pics are on, it was so glam early that even I got a couple of waves on it.
you need to try one mate, will have a demo at the mambo if you cant make it down before then.
thanks to Richard for making us get in the water and Phil for the pics, was a fun surf... will have to try to get down this way again.

Hey Mr Dogmeister,

I saw Session blow it up on the 9'6 and 8.10 in small surf very nice sticks.

As you know I am not what you would call a Bananarama Fan, but I have to say the 8.10 and 9'6 definetly look the goods and they surf very well, credit where credit is due. When the ribs heal I am going to be banging on Strappers door for a demo.

The DC9'4 (Casso x 1.4 version) is still by far the Sh!t for me in a custom it rocks, would love to see you on it at mambo Doggy,

Phill
