Woogie has been trial these little energy bars for a couple of months now with some great results.

Ideal for the down wind runs that paddlers are starting to get into - small enough to fit into your bum bag or pocket.

Session Saver Energy Bars

Top Quality Ingredients
We pride ourselves on only using the freshest available 100% certified organic ingredients in our bars.

Perfect Balance
The ingredients have been carefully chosen and balanced for moderated sugar delivery to the bloodstream, thus preventing the dreaded "rush and crash". Session Saver gives prolonged energy delivery and can be taken over longer periods as it is a "whole food".
The bars are prepared at low temperatures that do not destroy many active enzymes and nutrients in the ingredients. Our production process removes the enzyme inhibitors allowing the body to assimilate the available nutrients rapidly.

Sports Tuned
Session Saver energy bars are a great tasting, high performance, all natural energy bar.
Designed for surfers and excellent for all endurance sports. We are committed to organic whole foods, delivering a fuel your body can truly use.

Dietician Approved
Session Saver has been chosen by dietitians to assist their clients with their weight loss programs. Helps curb hunger and cravings providing an excellent snack or meal replacement.

Quality Snack Food
Session Saver acts as a low GI food source giving a sweet taste with no sugar rush, highly suitable for kids of all ages! Works as a great instant energy picker-upper .

I'm going to try some.

PowerBars are getting very expensive so I don't buy them anymore.. and they were very tough and often hard to chew.

How are these for colder weather paddling.. Soft or very chewy?

Jonathan and I had a 40 knot down-winder today and I was pretty pooped at the end.

........sounds great! I might try some too. In fact, next time I attend one of the "BBQ's" on the yarra I'll take some.

Having just looked at the site, they are actually priced pretty well for an organic product.

Hey DJ,

You will be impressed with these little bars.

They are designed as a low GI energy bar which has a slow release of energy - you don't get the big sugar spicks like you would with other products.

They are a crunchy bar which breaks down easily.

Woogie & Session Savers are working on a Gel in a shot form, again using all natural organic products.

In all the years of paddling this is the first Time Woogie has come across something that he is happy with and agrees with his body type.

"it is nice not to be eating baby food"
