Go have a look in onboard on the marina they have a huge range and speak to Filipe or Aaron, they will look after you and point you in the right direction.

Gday BigCuzy work out what you want to do with the board,research your area of interest and board styles.Then hit the local retailers,get demos if you can( usually difficult).if nothing appeals ,buy online knowing ahead of time what your requirements are.Secondhand is a good way to go for a first board but pretty slim pickings in SA.An allround board for joe average is usually around 11ft as a very vague start point.
