Not sure if there is already a thread for these shooters, but by golly, am I impressed!

Is there already an agent in OZ, keen to get one over here to NZ ASAP !

My comments:
- knowing how to "hide" the volume on shorter SUPs take time testing and experimenting... so if you like glide and speed, harass your local shaper to begin shaping ones, there is no time to lose, he has a lot of experimenting ahead but the results will be worth it. With some refining, you may even be able to pull in a bit the nose for added versatility.
- in the last video, you see the style of surfing these boards shine: horizontal, speed seeking, aiming for the high line to get speed.
- 8' length makes for great speed.. but 7' and 6' even more! :-)

I never saw a SimSup live, I just base my comments on the "mini simmons like" SUPs I rode.
And if you want a SimSUP, I guess your best best would be to contact L41 directly...

Nice one colas, thing is, here in nz you'll be hard pressed to find a shaper keen enough to take on such a design, especially a SuP.

Watching the vids, it looks like your foot positioning is key, hard up on the rail, pumping, the speed seems almost unbelieveable.

I'd be keen to see how it surfs on ya backhand, being goofy and the majority of my local breaks are right hand points, and on my backhand is where I need the speed !

Have emailed L41, will be interested to see what comes of it......
