Small winter waves from NJ. Riding Quatro Glide 8'6. Easy to surf... not so high performance but fun in the small stuff for cruising.
Water temp 35. Air 30. Offshore winds 20-30mph. L

When it's small I grab my wife's 8'10" Glide. It's a lot of fun. I was going to get her the 8'6" but she would of caught on to my alternative motive. ;)

I have got a Quatro Carve Pro 8', its a great board. I have used it on reef breaks, point breaks and beach breaks. The pulled in nose and curved plan shape mean that it handles late/steep take offs well and paddling round the line up it feels pretty stable and easy to manoeuvre. Seems to work well for me and i would be keen to try the next size down!
NB I am mid fifties age and low seventies weight !

* Here is a shot of my friend using the 8' Carve on a wave at Oahu. He is 5'5" and 155 lbs.
* I use the 8'4" Carve. I am 5'10" and 195 lbs.
* The boards are light and very fast. They float our weights very well and have lots of glide.
* We use them in a variety of waves from knee high to double overhead plus. Play with fin selection to suit your mood.

* This is another shot of my friend on the 8' Carve pro. The boards are a lot of fun.
