Watched Mexican last night paddle around Jackson Close after just having ridden a wave and taking it under the nose of Jackson. Jackson was not particularly impressed in the post-heat interview - my question is: If it's not deemed illegal according to the rules of the game is it then still dis-respectful and should it be avoided at all cost?

Jacko is one of the best comp surfers I've ever seen, he should've known better.

In social or free surfing it is poor form, but in a contest, well you should be able to avoid having it done to you - maybe a lapse in concentration?
