That was awesome! Not the SUP bit just the soft board bit at Pipe. What a freak! Nothing against sups ( apart from the 4 people that have fallen off and landed on me over summer ). There's kooks on short boards too!

Thats the biggest middle finger to Quiksilver, Ripcurl etc. for all their fancy boards and modern materials!

Just goes to show that you don't need all the latest and greatest stuff to get yourself out there!

surfers can be so conservative - i have been guilty of this too - in the last 7 years i have been choosing SUP , body surfing or surfboards - whatever the conditions dictate -and enjoying my time in water regardless of size and power

so refreshing to see a surfer with his mind wide open
