Anyone SUPing the Goolwa to Victor Harbour stretch of coast ?
How does the Chicken Run go as a SUP wave ?
What about the little bombies off Port Elliot ?

Heading down at Christmas and still deciding if I'll take the SUP for the trip ?

There are plenty of crew SUPng around the place - its really limited by where you want to SUP - personally don't head down VH way there unless there are no waves on the local reefs around the mid coast (probably a lot this summer)and its going to be offshore - Middleton point, Day Street are a bit of fun when there's no wind and you just want to get wet(only got an SUP this winter).

Waits and Parsons would be worth a look - just a bit crowded. Shark alley (in between the bluff and the small island in the bay) - is somewhere I've discussed with a friend - not sure about currents out there - could be a good adventure. You need a big swell for chicken run.

Be keen to SUP a few more locations though.

If you bring it I think you'll get more time on the water with that than the sailing gear (unless you pop over the hill to sellicks on a good Se'r in the late arvo)

There are some way more experienced SUP'rs around that may be able to give you a bit more info on Chiton bombie (Bullies could be a challenge) etc
