Cheers Mags - will have get my fat old arse out of bed early and head down one weekend. Seen Scotty Mac on his SUP get a few good ones at Day street on Sunday before the wind kicked in - hope his backs better - he was lookin pretty friggin uncomfortable after he slammed it on a forward loop first runout in the sailing comp.

With offshores down South being so common lately that has been the place to be SUPing. Now the first of the SElies have come in we can look forward to grovelling in the tiny Gulf swells to escape them! That said give me 2 to 3 feet surf over any Mid Coast reef and I'd love to be into it! Mags how many SUP round house cut backs can you pull on one Seaford Reef mini grinder? Will they let you back there? PS Thanks again for the trial SUP.

Tomorrow's forecast seems to be 1 to 3 foot surf down South with 0 to 10 knot offshores! Who will be there?

Been heading out at U turns a fair bit from head to knee height - fun little R) Hander at mid tide - be good to see some other crew out as the summer SE'rs hit - the Reef and Freddies have been two places I have been eyeing off - not sure how the shortboarders will react -I know I've been getting a few blank disapproving stares and from the long board crew at Three poles when cruising past.

Freddies is great for SUP if it gets some size. Today was enjoyable with clean Dribs albeit small and well ... it was Middleton. It even had longish walls tho with the sand built up a little off the Point. I wish the creek would run more.
Waits was awash somewhat and one bank only ... a short left and pretty well occupied.
Spring has sprung!

Do you know any mid coast SUP crew?

What size is your board and what make?

Do you just want to surf or river paddle?

Do you want to travel to avoid crowds?
