Speed comparison: Surf SUP v DW

For flat water, what would be the speed difference between a large surf SUP (11'6" -12') and a DW board?
Further, how would they compare into head wind?

you on a surf sup and me on 12'6, i'll see you later unless you paddle like travis,jacko, kelly etc

if a 12'6 dw board can't comfortably beat a surfing sup it isn't worth getting.

not these days anyway. even some of the older 12'6 6 wouldn't cut the mustard now

12'6 development has been the big mover in recent times
