It was interesting to see Jamie going out after wrapping his head in glad wrap to protect a ruptured ear drum, man thats commitment. They all have bigger balls than bull elephants.
After watching the big wave chargers, I still prefer to watch Casso, Dogman, Goatie, Billy, lummers etc rip it to bits in the smaller stuff.
It's an odd program - lots of nice background stories on the competitors and some good overlay of the wave riding. But the actual blow by blow series of rounds and finals and the scoring and the actual surf contest is not really covered at all. It was like they went from the qualifying for the last 4 spots in the 28 man field to telling us who won the whole event, with no detail in between.
PS. I'm referring to the second of the two programs. I got the Foxtel IQ on the job just a little too late to record the first one.

If it's on Foxtel they'll probably replay it.. again.. and again.. and again..
PTWoody is spot on. The programs were most entertaining but the second of the 2 was somewhat disjointed in my view. Nevetheless the video in both showed some exceptional SUP Surfing ... especially Sunset Beach (arguably still the centre of the surfing universe). What do others think in this regard? PS: It was pure arse that I happened to see the 2 scheduled shows on Channel 511 ... an odd Channel to take up the productions!
