Any news on whats in the SB range for '09.

Keen on the current 11' 2", curious if '09 will be the same?

The current range of Starboard (the 9'0", 9'8", 11'2", 12'0" & 12'6") will carry through 09.

The 11'2 being the most versatile board in the range, with excellent glide on the flat but still able hold a really nice line in the waves. For a one board quiver this is the choice.

Starboard have no plans to release yearly models of SUP's. However, there are a couple of new models in the pipeline...

We take delivery of the 14'8" Race boards later this week. These come with a steerable rudder system. There are quite a few pics of these floating around the web. Looks super fast!!

We are also receiving a 7'2" Pro Kids model in August.

The team in Hawaii have been asking HQ to come out with a high performance 9'8" x 28" board. For 90% of us this board will be too narrow. I definitely will be keeping my standard 9'8" x 30 rather than swapping over. These arrive in September.

The last board that will be released around December is a 10'5" x 30". The idea with this board was to create a board with short board steering but with a 'walk the nose longboard feel'. This board is still in testing at the moment but feedback so far has been really positive.

More details as they come to hand.

Michael.

DJ,

It is expensive that's for sure, it is a bit over $3,000.

We will be cracking a demo one out in the next week, so we will let you know how it goes.

Sam at Windsurf n Snow will have his next week as well.
