just wondering if anyone has ridden either and if anyone would recommend one over the other.

I live in a area that has generally fat waves.
can get upto 6ft but is still pretty fat.

thanks

If the Starboard pro is the 9'1 x 29" then I have ridden them both back to back. I usually ride the 8'5 Pocket Rocket and like it.

I found the Pro a little less stable. I thought the Pro might have more glide, but I didnt notice it. I found the Pro stiffer to turn as well.

To sum it up, I didnt find any positives in the Pro over the Pocket Rocket. I will be keeping what Ive got.
