Just received the Port Stephens Council Newsletter with a large photo of the ubiquitous Dogman on the cover. The Port Stephens Events Co-ordinator mentions how happy the Council was with the event and that they have plans to with Surfing NSW to grow the contest, adding coaching clinics and more social events. I missed the contest but from what I have heard it was a huge success. Congratulations to all concerned its good to see positive SUP press.

the crew from the council were great and pleased with how it went
dont know how stoked some of the local couch crew were with it all
but i only heard about 1000 complaints and i dont think anyone had there tyres slashed...lol.....
i hear there are currently constructing a larger than life bronze statue of me at the town hall and one infront of the one mile lookout in honour of me being born at nelson bay and coming third at the titles
they are also making a very small gold one of appsy for fist place to behind the mens toilet block
and an even smaller one in silver of noel behind the ladies
dont know why?????????

Yeah - Port Stephens along with Surfing NSW really did put on a great contest.
Funny stuff with the statues, Doggy. You'll have to watch that flock of pigeons which hang around the town hall and the seagulls at the lookout.
