Had the best surf since i can remember this morning , the Alley was so good for SUP. 3ft Glassy with 4ft on the sets , not many out.Its the first good waves ive had my new board out in since i purchased , and that was Months ago.
Unfortunately i only had about an hour half , work sucks.
Finally the wave drought has broken on the Goldy.Whooooo hoooooo
I know know , some one surely will have som pics. Hopefully i can sneak out of the office early and hit it again , this arvo. Low tide today will be pumping if the wind does not come up.
Yeah it was good, I got out there at 5am, just me and two guys on skis. Didn't take long to get a few more bods out there though.
I finished up with a few waves at Laceys before coming in at 7, and liked it even more down there. A bit full, but the good ones had some nice power to them.
It was sooo fun! Went out for a quick one and saw Lacey out there. Bit of a sweep had the board riders struggling. We could've made real pigs of ourselves but just caught a few of the inside ones near the rocks. Jacko and Pieter went out at lunch time and might've got some pics?
If pm me before you leave will give contact no should deside to come down this way.
Ill be over end of this month mate , i wont be taking a board though but if i can hire one i will.
will do that for sure , not sure what we will do yet , just play it by ear.We will do all the usual touristy spots , hopefully i can convince the missus into a surf coast trip.
it did happen . i went out at about 9.30. the tide was dropping and guys were getting barrels in front of the rock. i sneaked across inside of the medium ones when the timing was right. it hasn't broken like that for a while. now all we need is the wide bank of sups so everyone is happy instead of everyone fight it out off the point cheers
