While down at Torquay last w/e I caught up with an old mate from Stonker.. www.stonker.com.au/sup.htm

Stonker kite boards were pretty big a few years ago and now they are doing Stand Ups.

Alex showed me his latest board that he had made for a local customer.

It's 10'2" x 30" x 4 1/4" and has a very nice timber deck.

Alex has invited me down to the Stonker factory to check things out and I'll do that soon and post some more pics.

Here's a few pictures of a couple of his boards from last Saturday.. They also do these cool SUP board bags.

I think I can see my next board. Love the timber finish - dark timer too - very nice

Those boards look great, the deck almost looks like wa hardwood jarrah!

Alex said it was some kind of Tassie timber.

I sent Alex an email re this post so hopefully he'll respond with answers to any questions.
