DON'T FORGET THE COMP DAY THIS SUNDAY
ALL WELCOME. Round 2 of the surf comp PLUS Finals Even if you surfed last round and missed out you get a second chance at this round. Spread the word as we want to put the best possible team forward plus it is going to be a blast.
Date: Sunday 19th of June
Time: Be there at about 7:30am for an 8am start.
Location: TBA on Saturday (email will be sent and posted on Seeabreeze). Currently looking like Maroochydore Beach near the river mouth or Access 5 Buddina across from Labalsa Park. This is one of the Regional possible spots.
Format: Surf Comp. For Club Selection.
Those who did not make it in round one still can progress in round 2.
Make sure you are there for info on the "Coast of Origin"
Format: surf comp with two 15 - 20 minute heats for each surfer. Best two scoring waves in each heat count. First place in each heat is given 4 points, second get 3 and so on.
The 4 highest scoring open men's will go into the semis with those who have progressed from round one. So if you missed out in round one this gives you a second chance. In semi heat 1: First and second from round 1 will surf against third and fourth from round 2. The opposite will occur for semi number 2. The top 2 from each semi will go into the final and all finalists qualify for the Coast of Origin series.
The same format will be done for the ladies and over 45's.

Also don't forget that if you are a long boarder and wish to nominate for the Coast of Origin in Long Board; please let me know.
Only financial members can compete (insurance reasons).
Membership renewal for 2011 starts in July for all foundation members. Members who joined latter have 12 months from when they joined.

Coast of Origin is $20 per enrty per division. This is very affordable for such a comp.
