Looking forward to the annual surf/social weekend away. Always a great vibe and good fun to be had and a great opportunity to demo some surf SUP's in the waves.

We have had great conditions and fun waves each time over the last 3 years so I reckon our collective luck will hold again over the weekend of 22 and 23 March. Anyway, down at Inverloch there are plenty of options to cater for differing conditions and we always have the inlet and river as well, if all else fails. Water temps down in Vicco continue to be really pleasant atm, so this is probably about the last weekend to enjoy SUP surfing in boardies and rashy/wettie top, before the proper rubber comes out as we descend into winter.

The Sat night barbie is always great fun and caters to all. You can choose to join DJ for the family evening film session or hang out around the bbq quaffing a few ales and recounting heroics from the day just gone or from past surf trips....or both. It is a great way to meet others in SUP Vic as well.

And supmego, in the past people have usually shared rental holiday houses, stayed in the caravan park etc. The RACV is close by, so is certainly an option...I haven't stayed there before, but if they have a billiard room perhaps we can invade and have a midnight pool competition on the Sat night (just kidding).

Leave pass is secured for this one...wouldn't miss it.

With the front hitting hard on Friday and carrying into Saturday its been decided to run the Nisco Series from the River, it will still be quite bumpy and challenging, but the surfing will have to wait until later in the day.

Registration is at 8.15am on the River - closest carpark is Ramsey Blvd / Venus Street. Updated information will be given via facebook - SUP VIC Inverloch Surf Weekend.
