I may be visiting Gerringong this weekend. Is there any flat water nearby to play with my SUP?

I am not good enough for the surf.

No Problems. Plenty of room to paddle around there. Often see a few people out on their boards. Have fun.

Hi there Gerringong's a beautiful place. Do yourself a favor and drop into natural surf necessity and see Mick he looks after the SUP side of things. The guys an absolute legend and will give you heaps of advise on where too have a paddle.
Have fun.

7 mile beach is a short drive south and a good place to venture out into your first waves

Crooked river at 7 mile (Gerroa) - Empties into ocean.

Surf is generally small at north end of 7 mile - early is best before wind gets up.

Many people have 1st experience in waves at 7 mile. I learnt surfing there on a 10 ft balsa over 50 years ago.

Mick is a good guy too - very knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
