Well was at my local surf club this morning at North Cronulla SLSC,with my sup club t -shirt on ,signing the kids up for another yr of nippers.When one of my mates from the board section handed me a poster and is very keen to have SUPs in there ski series .I told him we had a SUP Club and he said that he's more than happy to have as many SUPs as possible.

So here's the details.......

6K handicap Ski race 2pm every Saturday thoughout summer
Free Entry
Great prizes every week
First race Saturday 3rd October
Races will be from Boat Harbour and return or Jibbon and return.

Yeh mate the SUP thing over in Cronulla hasn't really taken off ,so hopefully if we can get a few to this event thoughout the summer some of the clubbies might get into it as the ski paddlers come from all the 4 surf clubs .

Plus we are having our first ever SPSC Club event in Dec in Cronulla up there at Greenhills so hopefully that will also spark some interest.

Love the area......hope one day to come back for a surf.......surfed to whole area from sandshoes to VooDoo.............the best area for any conditions

Yeh it's a top spot alright ..... great surf beaches plus your've got the Port hacking which I use for my long distance paddles and there's plenty of open beach for downwiders.......

Yeh it would be great if you can make it , I've also told Stuart from SUPLOVE so I'm hoping he can make it as well we should try and get to the first race on the 3rd oct.

As it turns out I took my 4wd and SUP and paddled from Boat Harbour on Saturday. It was beautiful out there.
I am keen to have a go at the races.
Do you need to register to enter or just turn up?
BTW If anyone is keen to train weekday mornings in Eastern suburbs from Rose Bay or nearby or off Bondi let me know as looking for SUP training group.
