Just off the water from Fishermans Beach at Collaroy. Went out and cruised down to the Kick off the pool to see if any waves.
Very full so back up to Brownwater for some fun little lefts. Then spotted a fin pop up about 10 meters away. Slight "hmm, whats that" then all of a sudden I was in the middle of a pod of about 30 dolphins. It was way cool with some big buggers but a few mum's with babies side by side. They were just cruising around the bay having fun jumping etc.
Paddled back to beach and watched them head back out towards to Makaha. Chris and Casey came in and said they paddled straight past them.
Middle of winter in Sydney, boardies and rashy, fun little longboard waves and a beautiful arvo warmish paddle with dolphins. LG!!!!
