If anyone's keen we've been running some downwind/ocean based training on the northern beaches of Sydney over the past month or so on Saturday mornings. Target market is broad but ideally targeting newer people to the ocean looking to gain confidence when the water's not flat and then start to enjoy downwinding. Normally we hit the water at collaroy basin around 7.30 am and this Saturday in particular looks like a good one so come on down. Northerly winds at about 12-15 knots is going to be perfect. Hope to see you then. Sam.
Cool, sounds fun. Roughly how far will you go? Do we need to organise our own return transport, or will you toss everyone and their gear into the WSS van?
Change of plans for Saturday morning to doing a beach hugging coast run up from brownwater to Narrabeen and back. Light to moderate SW winds being the forecast so we do some intervals in the bumps and lumps. Fun bit of beach to paddle. Hit the water at 7.30 as usual, off the water by 9.00.
