just moved to Sydney (eastern suburbs) and would really appreciate some guidance on some SUP friendly breaks nearby or short run from the city.

probably not a newbie wave but the local SUP crew will be more then inviting.

Hey buddy, there's a good crew of us that paddle at rosebay. We do Wednesday and say time trials, 2.5k and 5k.
Wednesday evening is 5:30pm rego and 6:00 pm start.
Sat morning is 7:30am rego 8:00am start.
There are some training/paddle groups during the week as well.

Sorry mate, just read your original post again and saw it was about sup surfing.
Heaps if great options over te northern beaches.
