Ok, in my short few years supping I've had the pleasure (and somewhat spirtual satisfaction) of coming across some amazing sights provided by mother nature.
I attribute it to the sups silent ability to slip through the water and come across things and approach them without scarring them off with the noise of a smelly outboard motor, indeed many encounters have been met with a mutual inquisitiveness which totally adds to the stoke and leaves me buzzing for days and weeks after...
A mate and I followed a pod of four whales for about five kays as they were making their way down back the coast, it was almost as if the mothers were showing us their new babies as they circled us and swam around us for more than half a day.
Another time another mate and I paddled through a school of atleast a hundred juvenile hammerhead sharks.
So, I thought I'd start this thread to see what other suppers out there are encountering on their daily sup adventures.
Pictures or stories, it doesn't matter... I reckon just about everytime I remember to take my camera I see nothing and when I forget it I'm garrenteed to see the flipping loch ness monster...
So I'll start...
Today I saw a seal
He was chasing fish over near the power station and seemed pretty pivved that I was disturbing his hunt, so i didn't hang around long
I paddle up the channel over to the power station down to the ski club and back to the channel every chance i get, the last few days have been magic
