Going to beautiful Tassie for a week going to stay at the fabulous Lufra Hotel, in Eaglehawk Neck built by Sir Reg Ansett in the 1940's. It's a bit faulty towers these days, but hey, you can't beat those views over Pirates Bay and quirky little Doo Town.

What would be the best way of getting a sup down/up there - other than taking it with me? Can I hire one in Hobart? Or would it be better to land in Launceston and pick something up on the way in Bicheno?

I <3 Tasmania can't wait.

The only sups in Hobart for hire are nsp or maybe a Mct. If you contact Damien at jaysails.com.au he may have demo boards by then and you can email [email protected] and ask bout hiring/borrowing off one of the local carlton crew.
If I havent moved to Launny by then I'll be keen to catch up for a paddle.

Yep Matt, tanker surfing sounds so much better fun. Hehehe.

But, seriously, I'm sure you will have a great trip.
