PS - you can make loads of things a tax deduction, but it becomes fun explaining a few bit and pieces upon the unlikely audit event !!

Totally agree Simondo which is why the organisers went to the trouble to get a private ruling prior to launching the event. The ruling provides it is tax deductible given the content, the expertise of the presenter and what attendees will be provided from the seminar. Happy days. Even if it wasn't a tax deduction what better way then to improve your business in these tough economic times whilst scoring perfect waves in paradise.

Air fares to Padang are seperate but the cost does include all meals, accomodation, boat transfers, flight from Padang to the island, a few beers each day, hat, shirt and a massage.
