Epic vid gents!

For silky smooth style & class / taking a ride over the falls sitting down + a sneaky karate kick...1 nil to Jackson.

For grit & shredding the fwark out of it...1 nil to DogMan.

I call that a dead heat

I'm going with the dogman as the spray and stay is pretty solid while its hard to no notice the "spark" twinkle toes Jackson flashes into the arena but sideways charging into the deathlike takeoff by the dog got me ..love a goer

Biggest move on the biggest section wins the heat: so its jc with the big foam climb

You cant compare styles though. That would be like comparing a good half back with a good
front rower. One effortlessly darts, weaves and sets up plays as a thinking man... the other one has a primal, possessed anger and needs to aggressively destroy everything in its path. Two different ways of living. Each as impressive as the other.

You are both bloody good!
So you are really asking what style of surfing us "breezers" prefer.
Look at the demograph of SUP riders and what they ride ( and why ) --
I think you are doomed Roger!

Must have been to pull
off a foam climb with a board that size. The bloke has some balls! Dogmas is the
front rower though...days of power

I wish I could surf half as well...

On the day I have to go with JC, even though I think it looks awkward throwing a long board around like a short board - but he tossed it around like a short board and the long board moves were the icing on the cake.

Ok Doggie... straight up?
I have seen better from you.... too many alley cats the night before?
Your usual super solid, slash and burn would have made this harder.

winner winner, chicken dinner:
Jackson made a great case for longer and easier.... his rail turns, nose work, floaters and slashes were pure silk and solid as.
I'm guessing his board is pretty low volume and on the narrow side.... dang he ripped it!

I loved it all! More like this is needed!

I see a rematch coming!

Im always up for a re-match...hehehe

this vid is actually, all of the waves that didnt make the cut of the lizard island vid (which features jackson and myself riding our new deepoceanboards overseas manufactured production 10ft boards)

So its sort of just the scraps lying around on the cutting room floor.... But jackson caught that many good waves that day that we could have made 10 long vids of him going nuts on his big board

And concerning my lack of shredability in the vid compared to my old performances - your correct supthecreek- my busted up ankles and knees are slowly growing stronger but they dont like to bend. And im 20kg lighter atm so my rail game hasnt got the super-sized waterbuffalo graaaaaah!!!!! Behind it anymore. Wah wah!!!!!

I thought doggy dowap is surfing smoother than ever, more full rail turns rather than slash and gouge tight turns off the top, much prefer a full rail cuttie than a stomp snap off the top, sets him up better for maintaining speed to go into his next bottom turn,to truly pick a winner i was hoping they would swap boards halfway through so no contest result from me

Sorry Dogman, whilst I do enjoy your commentary and go-gettum style, I much prefer the classic surf style that a good longboard surfer displays.

So - Jackson - 2 points.
- Dogman - 1 point.
The guy in the RED speedos on the yellow clubbie board gets 5 points for being gutsy.

Jackson would need a long snorkel and a periscope to try and paddle my 90L 7'10 into a wave with the kegs he is running at atm

and we swapped boards in the lizard island vid (which was filmed the same day)
in which jackson smoked me good n proper

My new boards are feeling/working really good for me atm

And ive had alot of great feedback from a heap of punters that own my model boards

The boards construction are frickin A+

Cant thank Simon at DeepOceanBoards enough for listening to "what i wanted" in a board (to have fun) and then getting on the tools and creating these latest masterpieces

what a legend
