It's a cold night marty, make sure you tuck your board in nice and warm. Lucky you've got that spare bed outside for the misses.

I can't read either greenroom. I thought it said watch when its actually wettie.
I am dumb. Anyway, what would those blokes in QLD know about wetsuits? They are a fashion accessory up that way...

Hey DJ

I am 75kg I've ridden a few smaller boards lately so keen to see how this compares I'll try it first on the stock fins then i grab a set of Simon Anderson fins and do a comparison of the two.
Just looked out the window and seen the waves have picked up to about 5 or so feet and a little messy but i think snapper will be good once the tide starts coming in, can't wait !!!!

I'll make sure i put my watch on to keep me warm.

one of the biggest thing i noticed when i got all the boards yesterday was the lack of packaging that naish use now what a great idea, the boards come in there board bags with only a little bit of card board around them no bubble rap no plastic i think they say 85% less packaging , Good work i say

Yes all Naish boards come in ECO freindly packaging now. No plastic or bubble wrap. The throw away waste is reduced by 85%, and you get a cool white board bag suitable for everyday use (i.e. not suitable for international plane travel)

Ion Wetties are a windsurfing/kitesurfing/wake specific wetsuit company, they make the best suits for wetsuits for sports like ours. With the flex characteristics and specific cut, they also suit SUP perfectly. you can check out www.ion-products.com/ to see more.

Definitely go for the Simon Anderson fins, they do make a decent difference.

I just got my new Naish 11'4"...But I haven't slept with it yet..It's too big for my bed.. ...I really like the new graphics..

You're right..The new Naish board bag packaging is a great idea..It doesn't look very tough like a normal board bag but they will stop scuffs and scratches.

Jake and his dad chris plus paul got out down at snapper, sure they will post about it soon.

Marty got his out in some flat water this arvo aswell, and he loves it to death. His lovely wife has had to move out of their bed room .

Yep as i said in the other topic.

Snapper was going off this arvo.

Solid 5ft clean waves.

Might of tried to tuck into a few barrels if there weren't so many people.

Ben dover,
How do you go with the anger? Its snapper one of those places thats so crowded that its just a free for all or is some localism evident?

that place is so good but!!!!!
every time ive surfed it on a normal board and get a good one you got to dodge 5000 crew and miss the best part of the wave
just as well its that long even if you end up missing half of it

you so would get them paddlin hard to get outta your way when your lining up a barrel on a sup ...lol...

its one of those places that you dont see people hootin someone to smash the sh@t out of it on a hell wave
because there all hangin waitin and hopin the guy to fall off so they can take off
when i was there last i learnt some interesting new moves that ive never seen before down this way so i gave them my own unque names

1: is the queensland look back
2: is the queensland dont look back

its when you look back at the dude you just dropped on
and the other is when you dont look back at all when you drop in on a dude

i came home and told all the boys the sick new stuff the goldie crew get into ...lol...

There's actually been a write up in the local paper up here that got front page i think.

Because some brazilian tourists have been dropping in on everyone and they think they own the place, and one got bashed because of it.

It is a bit of a free for all some times.

But today i dropped in on one guy on the way in and pulled straight so he could go above me and keep firing down the line to make the section.
