What a fantastic day on the river. Thank you to the Cronulla Southerland SUP Club, a very well run event. It was fun for all ages. The inflatable platform was a hit with the kids all day!
While I only did two events my board was lucky enough to support the winner in the final event, the Le Mans, well done Mark (who also blitzed the field in the 14 foot race and an earlier race too). Good to see the northern beaches reps winning again!
Thanks Coreban for the major prizes in the raffle in which I was lucky enough to win an adjustable paddle!

Did Coreban have demo boards there?

Did anyone paddle the Turbo?

There were lots of demo boards from Coreban , including race boards but I don't know the model names.
Someone else might comment here.

Quite a few people tried my Turbo. It does take a little more than a quick paddle to get used to it. I love it, fast but a little tippy.

The Le Mans race.
This is the only one I filmed as I forgot I had my camera with me till last race of the day!
Also apologies as I stopped filming before the last person crossed the line. Having one of those blonde moments haha!

oh & ps, can't remember what I said about the turbo, but it was the most amazing looking hi-tech hull shape I have ever seen. Too tippy for me though hahaha!

Thanks..

I didn't think any were coming down under but after all the hype they'd be mad not to have a demo..

Tippy is it.. Maybe it needs more fins..

Looking forward to seeing one myself.

The extra fins do make it a bit more stable, but a little harder to turn. The balance is fine on the turbo, once you get used to it. after about 1/2 kilometer you work it out. I love mine. Straightest tracking SUP I've ever been on.

Hi all, just a heads up the official results are up on the Club website and facebook page:

www.cronullasutherlandsupclub.com.au

There is also some photo albums beginning to show up on the facebook page. Some people may have noticed Rachelle Macord there for most of the day taking some shots. A link to her photos is forthcoming too !
