Met up with Brendan and Scott at RightPoint today.Wasn't expecting much with small swell and southerly winds but had a fun session this arvo.Didn't get caught up in the Superbike race traffic either so that was a bonus.Heres a few pics of what went down from my cheapo digital camera.
Looking down to Shelly's beach which was busy when I got there.
Brenno about to throw buckets, sorry missed the money shot.
Goat boater dropping in.

Was breaking further out early before the swell dropped.
You got me keen and I'm stoked you did. Amazing how quick the swell dropped towards the end. When I got out there would have been some solid over head waves coming through and by the end it was barely chest high.
Oli, Cam got out about 2pm and me at about 3:40. All got out at about 5:45pm. Good session for Cam!
Might go check out the Mal/SUP titles down the west coast.
Wind is looking WSW which would be ok down that way so should be able to get waves somewhere. Swell will drop a fair bit by the w/e. We could make a more definate call closer to the day.
We were at Right Point (were your photo is Dave). Shelly beach (Cat Bay) was breaking close to be beach although it was breaking nice left and had about 8 guys on it. Left Point wasn't really breaking due to swell direction and such a high tide.
I got some waves there last trip and it was pretty good. Would usually be a better winter wave with SW swell direction being ideal.
