The creation of Fatty pads is based on the anatomy of the human foot.
Less padding on your feet is not good, especially if you are stand-up paddle boarding or doing any water sport where you have to stand or kneel on a hard surface.
Specifically, in stand-up paddle boarding you have a thin hard neoprene traction pad that you stand/ and or kneel on and this is puts stress on your knees and feet.
The Fatty Pad solves this problem. The Fatty Pad is made of 1/2 inch thick rubber with a traction material applied to the rubber to prevent slippage and is put over the top of your existing traction pad. The pad is applied with a pull off adhesive backing and can be pulled off at the end of the season without any damage to the existing traction pad.

I'm sure it'd be nice & soft on the feet for long paddles, but A) surely you'd lose a lot of 'feel' for the board, and B) god it's plug-ugly...

Each to their own I guess! If it helps someone, then good on them

Fatty Pad sounds like a once a month product for a large and rather aggravated Sheila....ouch.

I have my own all-over-body-encompassing fatty pad...and I don't seem to need to remove it at the end of the season...
