I always seem to miss it... and I think because St Kilda beach is the closest to the city that's were they go for a quick pic for the news or weather.
I'm often getting told that they saw my on the telly during the weather but I never know I'm being filmed.. I need to be careful not to pick my nose..
It was a classic beach day today and I did take heaps of pics.
I was continually getting asked if they could have a go at SUPing and often asked if I could take their pic doing it (SUP).
Here's some more pics from today... (All either asked to take or I asked if it's ok to take).

It was well over 40deg and it was great to find some shade on the water under St Kilda pier.
I left a yellow mark on one of those poles.. ..from the board in case you're wondering.
I had been out on the water from about 10am and got back to my car about 4pm.. Pheew!.. It was a stinker and as I drove off with the air-con on full bore I noticed the outside temp..
Feeling like a fried lobster the ice cream shop was my first stop on my way home..
I couldn't believe I actually turned up for work today. It was definitely a ripper day of intense heat. I spent most of the day looking out the window wishing I could be down at the coast - there was even some nice swell out in Western Port. My biggest excitement was wondering outside when I saw it hit 43C - that's 110F in the old scale. I caught the peak hour train home - which was late, full and stunk of curry. I wanted to rush home as I was worried that my board was going to explode if I didn't take out my vent screw in time. Tomorrow, I'm off to Adelaide and then on Saturday I'll be in Perth sweating it out at the showgrounds in predicted 45C - spare me.
