Hi guys,
Long time lurker, first time poster.
So I finally got my first brand new fixed length paddle today, a Fanatic Innegra.
Problem is, the handle is really really tight to push in the shaft, I've tried fitting it without glue first and I really have to push and twist it fairly hard to even get it half way and it was a struggle to get it back out from there. I've given the handle a light sand as well as inside the shaft.
Just wondering if this is normal and I should just force it in or is there something wrong?
Thanks!

the glue will lubricate it slightly , you should be fine to go for it

if its a good like that, and its the type where the handle has a spigot(little shaft) that goes inside the hollow paddle shaft, I would not glue it. I just tape it up with electrical tape (narrow pvc tape) I have had my QB like that now for over 3 years on the single taping. No leaks, no twisting, no movement. The beauty of that is if you ever need to change the height or the handle, just untape and remove. No glue to heat up etc.

Hi Coastie, Yeah has been normal with these paddles. I usually just sand enough off for a tight fit.
