Howdy..anyone been to Tonga. Going there in late October into the Vava`u northern island group. Curious to know if theres anywhere to SUP. We`ll be on a catamaran which comes with a board, probably a fairly dodgy one I suspect but still be worth a go. Thanx!

Was there in Feb and scored great waves at the northern end of Tongatapu and offshore reefs.
Nothing big, only up to around 4'.
Great fun on SUP.....but better get your tuberiding skills dialed in or you'll get shredded on the reefs.
I've also heard the Vava'u region gets a bit more swell.
