No the yanks will have exactly the same thing happen 17 hours after us depending on which part of the US/Canada you live.
What did they have last month?
Also, if the world was to end at that time would it be GMT +10 or real time?

Aus301 is correct. The Yanks use a different date system. Month/Day/Year whereas we use Day/Month/Year.
As for when the World is gonna end that will be on Mayan time
