A small crew decided to hit a novelty wave right in town - just between McDonalds and Hogs Breath. What a sight we must have been to the Port Macquarian business folk who sat in the park eating their lunch watching crazy people glide by on gigantic surfboards. So much fun was had by all with switch-foots, party waves, spinners, nose rides and soul arcs the order of the day. Micro grommet, Robbie, was in his element as he worked on his bottom turn to re-entry combinations.

Great video - Bay Surf on the mid north coast !

See any fins.....I've seen plenty big ones along the rock wall there.

Thanks for sharing.

There were a few dolphins mucking around. Were you talking about the crankier version?

What a Hoot!

Interesting to catch on film the Goatman getting back to his roots!

I suspect he might go in circles if he continued using his sup paddle like a double ender though!

Great Video Casso. We wondered how long you would be able to resist joining us out there.
(For those who weren't there, Casso lasted about 10 minutes on the camera before he grabbed a board and joined us)

Thanks Mel

Casso, my in laws used to live up there and we spent a lot of time surfing north shore.....I got chased a couple times paddling from townies across and we used to spend Sunday afternoons hanging out along the walkway....think dolphin size x 3 and the nastier fin variety.....I'm really surprised and thankful none popped their heads up to introduce themselves !

Loved the vid.

You guys were making it look like so much fun! A nice bit of relief from the out of control, washing machine conditions around the corner.

Heheheheheh
Thanks DJ !!!!

Could have something to do finding a great Chiropractor / accupuncturist?

Or maybe it's my beautiful new Green Demon board? (Hobie Colin McPhillips 9'11")

But most likely its the 15+ hours a week I spend paddling instead of doing the housework!

Gotta get the priorities right in life!
