Hi All

I am of to Vanuatu for my wedding in July for 2 weeks and was wondering if it was worth slipping a Surf Sup into my travel bag I am staying on Erakor Island.

Thanks

From memory some people on here have got some waves down at Erakor,

The surf is very average (by South Pacific standards anyway) IMHO no matter what time of year you go but the flat water paddling and downwinder potential are unreal, Basically Thomas, the French surf, SUP and kitesurf guide is your only way to go and hes a top bloke as well, so give him a call and he will hook you up with whatever you need be it a SUP or a tour etc.

This was my account of SUP when staying in Port Vila, also Erakor is mentioned by someone on here.

Best of luck with the wedding..........., hope your new Mrs dosnt get wind of your SUP plans.

I don't want to give too much away, if you head down Pango Rd until you get to the end of the Rd. there are two left hand point breaks, with left and right beach breaks in between them. One of the lefts could be quite heavy in big swells. I was there in April a few years back and had quality waves for 2 weeks. Best tip get in the water early before the wind comes up.

Have fun
