Thanks..

Can you tell how much I love downwinders.. I think all the fist pumping and thumb's up'ing gives it away..

Nice one DJ... still on your old glide? I saw in one of your previous posts you'd ordered the next one.

Yes.. I am selling my current Glide because I have ordered the new 2014 Glide..

I love my current Glide so much but I trust Naish 100% that the new one will be even better..

I should have it in a few days.. Can't wait..

The new one's a bit wider isn't it? Did that cause you any hesitation?

No.. That was actually the thing that I'm looking forward to the most..

Being 6'4" and 95 kgs.. along with being pretty old and wobbly I find the 27" Glide width a bit tippy at times.

I've heard the new one is super-duper stable... I like stable..

Great vid - the stoke shines through!

We just got the new Glide, hope to get it on the water tomorrow - but no downwind conditions as yet. It looks like a wider LE - rocker substantially less and rails are softer further back - looks a hoot! With the lower entry rocker it should go great on flatwater as well.

Thanks Peter.. Looking forward to hearing what you think after paddling it.. (The new 14' Glide) ..

btw.. They just arrived here in Oz today so they should be in our shops in the next day or so.

DJ - love the comment that you like it stable - with all the contraptions you have on your board to video, walking up and down on the board with your arms above your head - I challenge anyone else to be able to do that and still stay on. Happy DW

Thanks Kathy.. That mount was a fair bit higher than I've used in the past and it did give me the colly-wobbles.. I get used to it (sort of) but Ross and I sat down for a while and then when we stood it felt almost impossible to paddle for a few minutes.

I did get more vid of Ross and I together.. and kite and windsurfers buzzing us but for some odd reason iMovie only loaded a couple of the movie files.. So I might try again and see what else I got.

You missed a good one Sunday.. Maybe we'll see you tomorrow ?

I paddled the new Glide 14' last weekend. Its super stable (Im just your average punter) and felt sweet to paddle. On very flat water and looks the ducks guts. Very comfortable deck too. Thanks Sam @ Windsurfnsnow.
Hope you enjoy it.
