Jeez I hate it when it's blowing all night with a solid 25-30.. and all morning.. That is, right up till the point you drop your board into the water.. and then it instantly drops to next to nothing..

Bugger!

We did get some runners today and even though there was not much wind we got blue sky and sunshine.. Beautiful Winter's day in Melbourne.. .. and when you did get a runner it felt like Christmas..

Good turnout for this time of year DJ,
looks like even Rosscoe braved the 11 degree water, hope he had the chance to warm the wetsuit on the car heating vents before the run

It was still wet from my surf on Saturday....but I didn't woos out like some, who need a fresh wetsuit every day, before they will put their toes back in the water!

I actually overdid the amount of rubber, expecting more like 30 knots (and the odd dunking) than the 15 we got (until right at the end), so a 4/3 was way too much and I thought I was going to expire from heat at one stage there.

Ross, you should have paddled out beyond the shallows. The wind and waves were pumping where we were.
