Hi All Perth SUPers,

I think its time we all got together for a paddle, me and the boys tend to paddle at Cott or Brighton and don't often come across other crew.

So I propose that we all meet down at Dutchies in Cott on Sunday morning for a group paddle. Either we hang around some of the breaks at Cott or we head towards Swanborne or Freo for a distance paddle.

If conditions are not favorable on the ocean, lets head to a spot on the river.

All in say I, would be good to meet some more crew.

Cheers

Marco

Hi Guys,
I'm in if someone can let me demo a board. I don't want to bring down the old windsurfer, I might kill someone with it.

Cheers
Si

How was your 11'2 out there Simp? My next SUP board is definately gonna be a sport tech
What was the average length board out there? How big were the waves?
Did Akhawk get down there to demo the Starboards?

Sure did Greeny.
I had a go on the 11'2'' sporttech which was good fun. I only tried my first sup board yesterday in the flat so this was a whole new ball game. Harder than I thought but i'm sure with more water time it will get easier.
Thanks to those for organising and everyone for being so generous with their boards. It's amazing that someone will so willingly lend a stranger a board which is worth a lot of money without any hesitation, and these were peoples private boards as well as shop demos. Thanks to that bloke and his girlfriend for allowing me to use their gear, I'm sorry i've forgotten their names.
I bet that sort of generosity and community spirit wouldn't have been happening 20mins up the coast at trigg point!!!

Hi All,

Just like to thank all those that turned up for a fun session yesterday, I think it must have looked pretty strange to all those people walking past and seeing a big group of people standing around on the water.

After 3 days of SUPing and catching endless amounts of waves my body is feeling a little tired, but I am just itching to get out again, I had soooo much fun.

Greenroom - missed you out there and unfortunately we were all having so much fun that I don't think anybody wanted to take time out to take pics.
From memory I think the 11'2 was the board of choice but it was a good mix, should have done some more board swapping though.

Windy - How many hours exactly did you put in???

Akhawk - It was Jesper and Anika that kindly let a few crew have a go of their boards, next time we might try to arrange a few demo boards for other crew to get out and have a go.

Cheers

Marco
