Just seeing if there is enough interest for a paddling clinic in WA? Myself and Jamie Mitchell are coming over for a week when the Doctor race is on and thought if there was enough interest we could run a paddling Clinic. Not sure on a cost just yet but would love to know if you guys are keen for something like this. Just leave a reply or PM me if interested.

This one looks good, and is part of the event...

Leave from same place - choose estuary or ocean - see who makes it to the finish first..

I would be keen but live in Geraldton so need to make a special trip. Would I need to bring a board? I have a 14 starboard. I notice paddling these boards is a lot different to a wave board. I find I need to bend the knees to get the paddle deeper helps and you can increase the power in the last half of the stroke. Is this a good style?
It is great you are coming to the Doctor. I only recently discovered this event. Good to see it covers all craft.

I'll get on to this this week and post what we can come up with.

It looks like some good races for WA and from what i hear there are some good paddlers coming to do them!!! I'm can't wait to get there.

Hey Jacko, if you're ever planning a trip to Melbourne, I'm sure there'd be huge interest in doing a clinic and/or fitness training session. We got a very decent turn out when Woogie was here last month.
