I knew that few weeks of beautifull calm weather wouldn't last forever but i didn't think we would get blown away like this.

How are you guys going in Victoria and Tasmania? Looked pretty mean on the news. Here in SA today we were hammered with 138km/h winds and dry as tree's falling down everywhere,(anyone for a downwinder) hope there is the calm after the storm so i can get out tomorrow

Don't talk to me about wind...The power here has just come back on..It's about midnight and it's been off since about midday.....because of the wind.

Normally I live for days like this..but with gusts around the 50-60 knot range my 4.2 was even going to be too big...The wind here today was off the scale.

I had one of my worst shifts at work tonight...We almost had to evacuate ICU due to the blackout..and helping to get all the equipment ready for each patient was my job.
