I think John was a bit bored today with Oliver fishing off his Uli SUP board..or was it the late nights watching Le Tour.

Look..a sleeping blue Wiggle..

Wake up John..

Come on John..Wake up..

Look John..the girl on that boat has her top off..

John, Oliver and I did our usual Saturday morning paddle today..and I got to use my new Naish 11'4" for the first time...Isn't she a beaut..

I like the new graphics...It's also good to see the name Naish..I've had people look at my board and ask..What type is it.

Oliver had his fishing gear on hoping to land the big one....It didn't happen..

We stopped off for a bite to eat after paddling into a strong headwind.

John had a huge piece of carrot cake..I had the biggest bag of hot chips that I'd ever seen.

The local maggie knew how good the chips were and wanted some.

Oooh look..I just noticed 10c on the ground..I might have to drive back tomorrow and see if it's still there..

We headed off to enjoy a nice down winder and wishing we'd not eaten so many chips.

Our down winder turned into an up winder....a head wind..Bugger.

Don't get any ideas Oliver..

Watch it mister..Your bum's in the shot.

The new Naish boards come with these cool Naish board bags..Free..

How cool do the new fins look..They're the same size as the old ones but don't look as big.

The bag is perfect for stopping salty water dripping on my new car..

Gee DJ that board looks much like your 11'6... only 2" shorter
If only we had as much money as you DJ
The best looking thing about that board is the fin

I know it looks much like the 11'6" and only 2" shorter but it is a totally different board..It feels more like a surfboard and less like an aircraft carrier..

I had two boards 11'6" and 10'6" and recently sold my 10'6" to my friend Helke so I could buy the new 11'4"..I found the 10'6" hard work in chop being 90kg.

I guess the new Naish 11'4" would be very similar to the SB Ultimate Blend but I guess I'm a bit of a Naish fan..

Their quality/finish and shapes speak for themselves.

My plan is to sell my 11'6" now to make way for the new Naish Glide (I have ordered and due Sept)..and I think the 11'4" and Glide will be the perfect SUP quiver for me.

If I could only have one board it would be the new 11'4" for sure..It paddles great on flat water and looks like it would surf real good..I can't wait to try it in the waves.

"Why haven't u got grip on it? Didn't want to cover the new graphics? "

Jake..I have the new Naish camo grip but not had time to stick it on yet..I couldn't wait to try it out.

I would like to insert a couple of leash plugs in the deck first like I did with my other boards.

Thanks lagoongarage.. ..and yes they are Rola racks.

So did you wear those Crocs of yours, DJ? Are they grippy enough for paddling on flat water with no wax or grip at all?

Yes the Crocs grip the smooth gloss surface fine..I paddled all afternoon and didn't slip once.

They sure do, he probally didn't put them in as he was only going on the flatwater.Im sure he'll put them in when he goes in the surf.

Yes it's a thruster set up..I was rushing and didn't have time to fit the side fins..besides..I wanted to see how well it tracked with just the center fin.

It was fine..Really good..I might even leave it as a single fin for now.

Also..Check out the size of the new vent screw..Wow!..It's the Mother of all vent screws..

It's a great idea because you don't feel like you're going to strip the thread.

You do like using your macro feature on your camera, don't you DJ?

Me too, here's a pic of a mozzie I squashed on my surfing mag in Vanuatu:

Ha!.. ..You noticed.. ..It's amazing how these little camera's the size of a matchbox can take great pictures.

That's a great mozzie pic...Amazing...I've heard that the mozzies are huge over there..

Yeah.. ..Well spotted..That is a shadow of my paddle.

I had my paddle hanging from a fork in a branch in the tree..I guess I was worried that someone would step on it if I layed it on the ground..

So instead of getting stepped on, a maggie will fly off with it instead
