Am a Sydney longboarder (northern beaches) and have been searching the net to buy a 2nd hand SUP. I had a ride on a 8'6" Magic Carpet board and am hooked but can't afford a new board at present.
Have replied to ads on this site but all seem to be have been sold. I weigh 77kgs and am looking for something around 9'. Don't want to buy a dog or old technology. Any suggestions greatly appreciated

there are heaps of boards in the forsale section. I guess it just depends on how far away you are looking. I think there may be some deals on at the moment re magic carpets old stock?? call Roar industries and see

Around what amount is your budget ?

Being my first board - if I can buy a well used brand board thats around a year old for around $700 or $800 that would be a bonus. Have two older teenagers so can hand it on to them and then buy the 'perfect' board next year if I really take to it - plus I will know exactly what I want by then.

Go to WindSurfNSnow in Collaroy. They have heaps of ex demo and second hand boards in the racks for you to check out.
