Hi fellas.
Just after some idea on how long it generally takes from the time you make a warranty claim on a board with a distributor, until you receive an answer.
Any experiences?
Cheers.

Ask the distributor you gave it to. He would have to send it to the dealer to make the call.

Thanks Piros. Have done so several times, but as a first time claimant just after thoughts on what is "the norm". Months? Years?

The distributor? What abot the shop you bought it from. Surely they will be the ones dealing with the distributor, unless you bought online...

Terminology. Ok then, the shop. Who bought it from a "middleman". Who received it from an overseas manufacturer. Just after an idea on what turnaround time is considered "normal", if there is such a thing.

Hey Brenno,

We are Naish Australia. In general if it's a pretty straight forward issue, we will give an answer on that same day. However there is always things can lead to some delays such as if we need to get approval from International, and then they might need to get approval from the factory and so on and so forth. Understanding that every product goes from a material supplier to manufacturing to packaging and freight to company to importer/distributor to retailer to consumer, depending on the issue and who is responsable for it can cause some delays, but I would say on some of our worst cases an answer is given with in the week.

Can't speak for other brands, but we try for 24hr turn around.

Hope this helps,

JB
