OK maybe not just yet..... But it is a likely area to receive a wave pool when it happens.
Check the latest developments http://www.liquidtimepools.com/ There's a great vid and he has just received a $200,000 grant and is working with the Australian Martime College in Launceston. This all inspired by the trawler waves in Yamba river.
This is all from the mind of Greg Webber. If this guy started designing SUP it would rattle the minds of everyone. A true legendary thinker. If you know him you'll understand when I say keep your missus close.

Great read, but at $30 per hour per surfer, how many people do you know that could afford that hobby??
The beauty of surfing for me, having four kids, is that it costs me a board every couple of years, some petrol money and a wetsuit. All the other ingredients are pretty much free.
At $30 per hour my current weekly surfing bill would be around $450.
Yeah Right!!!
