I have a 7.10 sup and surfed it with wax for a couple of weeks from new, felt great on a wave but I found it got slippery quickly due to obviously standing on it all the time. I was having to carry wax in my pocket!... I put my own pad on n haven't looked back... I still have a little wax towards the nose so it's not a full deck pad but covers my standing area....
