Ice covering car windows & everything this morning in the first big frost of the winter. Had ny new xcel infiniti 4/3 wetsuit on & my O'neill psychofreak booties & my ripcurl E bomb gloves. Was pretty comfortable actually especially at Makorori Point where if lucky you can padle out in big surf without even getting wet.

Of course some people take the rubber thing a little bit tooooo seriously lol

It was 2 degrees at 13th when I braved W34 at 13th this morning. Goddamn Southern Longboarders were having a comp at "Boings". Not Cylinders, The Hole or Beacon, 'Boings'???? and then 98% of the geniuses went right when the left was clearly the better wave!!!! It only goes to prove that Suppers have a vastly superior intelligence to most other forms of surfing. LOL, (god I wish my back would let me shortboard) The 4 hour session was all time though, or at least 25 years time! By the way 3/2 Body Glove witha Peak hood and a H20 waterproof MP3. Go Hunna's, go Nicky boy and the Bad Seeds!!

Went for a 2hr sup yesterday here in sunny vic with a thermal rashie & boardies - I don't know what you guys are on about!?

Granted it was flatwater around our harbour and down the canal & I had no intention of falling in...

I couldn't feel my toes when I got out!

Now your really killing me, still have decisions frost on the ground means 4-3 zippless with titanim vest & hood .Or 4-3 zip if not too hot otherwise

hmm, i actually got a bit hot and had to let some water in to cool down.

you guys have got it easy. its really had to decide between boardies and 1 mm top or the 2/2 streamer- decisions, decisions
