Pat Morgan was one of the original owners of Rip Curl and responable for getting me onto the Rip Curl wetsuit team [back in the day] and it's great to know that he's now stand up padling at 75.
Pats a great man,Ive got great memories of being told off by Pat. He was a real gentleman in a time when that was kind of seen as funny. I was living in Toquay the in 60's and we were sitting on the beach,and Pat said to me your a nice boy don't hang around with those guys or, you'll finish up in trouble. No names, but he was right.He always had this kind quiet smile,and when he'd say I dont think that board is any good for you,you knew it was honest and he was not just trying to sell you one of his. Great to see him still so fit and enjoying life.
